Aleksandar Vukic's strong performances at the Challenger level earlier this year played a crucial role in his top-100 debut last month. This achievement has now granted him his first-ever direct qualification into the main draw of a slam, without relying on a wildcard.

In a stunning display of resilience, he fought back from a set deficit not once, but twice, and even saved multiple match points in the fourth set to stun the then-world #9 Jannik Sinner in the second round in Paris.
