Christophe Galtier may have helped Paris Saint-Germain land the Ligue 1 title this season, but he still heads into the final week of the campaign fighting for his future at the club. The underfire boss could reportedly lose his job this summer but claimed publicly he “deserves a second season” after a sluggish 1-1 draw over Strasbourg last weekend that secured the top spot ahead of Lens.

Such a remarkable season has led to Pascal Gastien being nominated for the Manager of the Year award in France, and he has admitted it has been a season to “savour”, stating he is “proud of the work accomplished.” The boss will now be hoping to sign off for this season on a high, as Clermont looks to extend a stunning finish to the campaign which has seen them register seven wins in nine outings (D1, L1).

📋 Players to watch: Kylian Mbappé has netted nine goals in PSG’s last seven Ligue 1 outings, with seven of those strikes coming before HT. He will be hoping to out-score Clermont forward Saîf-Eddine Khaoui, who was on target against Lorient last time out, but has failed to net in six losing H2Hs.
